Cynllun Grantiau Cymdeithas Ddysgedig Cymru yn Derbyn Ymateb Enfawr gan Ymchwilwyr o Gymru
Mae diddordeb digynsail yn ein cynllun grantiau gweithdai ymchwil wedi arwain at chwech ar hugain o brosiectau, ar draws pedair thema wahanol, yn derbyn cyllid.
Mae’r pynciau’n amrywio o glwb pêl-droed Wrecsam i belydrau cosmig, tegwch rhywedd yn y gweithle i fanciau bwyd, mewn arddangosfa agraffiadol sy’n dangos sut mae’r cynllun grantiau yn cwmpasu ystod ddeniadol o feysydd pwnc.
Mae’r cynllun wedi bod yn rhedeg ers 2022 ac mae bellach wedi darparu cyfanswm o 60 o brosiectau gyda grantiau rhwng £1,000 a £2,000. Mae’r cyllid wedi’i gynllunio i ddod ag ymchwilwyr o Gymru at ei gilydd mewn gweithdai cydweithredol a rhyngddisgyblaethol, lle mae syniadau ymchwil a cheisiadau am ragor o gyllid yn cael eu datblygu.
Mae’r grantiau yn cael eu dyfarnu ar draws y themâu eang canlynol:

- Ymchwilwyr Gyrfa Gynnar
- Astudiaethau Cymreig
- Dyniaethau, y Celfyddydau a’r Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol
“Cawsom ein synnu gan nifer ac ansawdd y ceisiadau a dderbyniwyd,” meddai Dr Barbara Ibinarriaga Soltero, Rheolwr Rhaglen Datblygu Ymchwilwyr.
“Mae’n gwbl amlwg bod y cynllun grantiau wedi dod yn rhan sylweddol o amgylchedd ymchwil Cymru erbyn hyn. Mae’n darparu’r math o gyllid sy’n aml yn gallu bod yn anodd cael gafael arno, yn enwedig i bobl ar ddechrau gyrfa ymchwil. Rydym yn gwerthfawrogi cefnogaeth ein holl gyllidwyr – mae eu cyfraniadau yn allweddol mewn hyrwyddo’r gwaith hanfodol hwn yng Nghymdeithas Ddysgedig Cymru.
“Mae’r cysylltiad eleni gydag Academi Heddwch yn ddatblygiad cyffrous, yn gyntaf oherwydd ei ffocws ar astudiaethau heddwch, lle mae angen gweithredu ar dipyn o frys yn yr amseroedd presennol.”
Bydd y rheiny a dderbyniodd y grantiau yn ysgrifennu adroddiad interim yn ddiweddarach yn y gwanwyn, cyn cyflwyno adroddiad terfynol yn yr haf.
